RAMP Members and Organizational Structure
Given the regional scope of RAMP, it has been important to involve representatives from various stakeholders that have an interest in the aquatic resources of the oil sands region. Accordingly, membership in RAMP is diverse and includes members from local and aboriginal communities, environmental non-government organizations, government agencies (municipal, provincial and federal), oil sands and other industries, and other independent stakeholders.
To facilitate the ongoing operation of RAMP, it was also important to establish an organizational structure that met the needs of the program and members with respect to decision-making, monitoring design and implementation, finances and communication activities.
