RAMP Sponsors the Wood Buffalo Regional Science Fair
Apr 16 2010The Regional Aquatic Monitoring Program (RAMP) was a proud sponsor of the Wood Buffalo Regional Science Fair, held on April 16th and 17th in Fort McMurray. RAMP supports this important regional event, which encourages youth to explore the world of science and increase their knowledge of the environment around them.
The annual science fair provides youth from grades four through twelve the opportunity to investigate scientific questions and showcase their science projects to the public and judges. Representatives from RAMP were on hand at the event to answer questions about RAMP and to participate in the science exhibit through an interactive display explaining how pH affects water and the aquatic life living in it.
Congratulations to the participants that represented their schools and good luck to the individuals that continue on in the Canada-wide Science Fair!
